The basics
What a kpi card is, and when to use one.
A KPI card (or metric card) puts one important number front and center: a large headline value, a short label, and usually a delta showing the change since the last period.
Lightchart ships three presets: Simple KPI, KPI + Delta and KPI + Label. Style them once and save them as reusable components for every report after.
- At the top of a weekly or monthly performance report.
- Summarizing headline numbers like revenue, active users or conversion rate.
- Tracking progress against a target.
- A KPI row above the charts that explain it.
