The basics
What a multi-chart card is, and when to use one.
Sometimes one chart can't carry the story. A multi-chart layout puts several charts together, like a row of KPIs over a bar chart and a trend line, so your audience sees the whole picture on one slide.
In Lightchart, every card is a canvas. Add as many charts, KPI cards, tables and text blocks as you need, arrange them, and export the whole card as one PNG.
- A one-slide summary of weekly or monthly performance.
- Related views of the same data, like totals next to the trend.
- Small multiples: the same chart repeated for each region or product.
- Slack or email updates, where one image beats five attachments.
Step by step
Make a multi-chart card.
- Step 1
Start a card
Pick a format: 16:9 presentation, square, portrait, A4 landscape, social post or a custom size.
- Step 2
Add your charts
Insert bar, line, scatter, pie, Sankey, funnel, KPI and table components, and paste data into each.
- Step 3
Arrange and export
Size and align each element, apply one palette across all of them, then export the card as a 2× PNG.
Styling & export
Make it match your brand, then export.
- One palette or theme applied across every chart on the card.
- Card formats for slides, documents and social posts, or a custom size.
- Save KPI rows and sections as reusable components for next time.
- Text blocks for the title and the takeaway.
